Leadership is one of those things that is very hard to measure or to prove. It requires a lot of practice and discipline to get right and it is full of grey areas and blurred lines. As such, if you’re struggling with leadership, or if you just want an outsider’s point of view on your leadership style, one to one coaching is usually the best way.

You can read all the leadership books in the world, but unless you have an impartial third party to judge your delivery of that theory, it can be nigh-on impossible to know if you’re doing it right or not.

Therefore, a coach with long-running experience of leadership in business, is ideally placed to take a step back and watch how well you apply your leadership style. Even better, they can read your team and their responses to your leadership, therefore giving you advice on ways to adapt and tailor your style to suit each individual member of your team.

Following this conversation, they’ll book a consultation with you to get into more detail on your level of need and how often coaching sessions will be held. Coaching takes time and does not provide an overnight or instant change in results. Coaching also requires effort and engagement on your part and cannot succeed without it.
