How it works
We are called Altitude, because that is what we do – we help you increase your altitude. We aid you in taking the right steps to develop your ideas and build successful digital businesses.
The stages are all entirely necessary and highly important:

1. Define & Refine
We begin by helping you define the idea. Working with you to take the brainstorm, the wish list and the noisy collection of thoughts and applying our technical knowledge to them so that a more refined product concept can be developed.

2. Planning & Architecture
Once a clearer product is settled upon, we then help plan it out. This process is similar to an architect designing a building before construction starts. Everything is considered, discussed, scrutinised and decided upon, leaving as few stones unturned as possible. This helps create a price point and estimated delivery costs for getting your concept to market.
We then plot out the delivery points, the milestones in the journey, likely marketing costs, business plans, overheads, team requirements etc.

3. Team Building
One of the main obstacles facing the “ideas person” or the “visionary” of the company is the lack of a team around them on which they can rely.
We work on helping you to identify your talents, your strengths and your most suitable roles within the organisation. This then tells us where the gaps are, who else we are going to need to help you find in order to develop a team around you. A team that will not only help bring you success, but will also function well with you personally.
We work with a wide number of business coaches, non-exec directors, key influencers, industry experts and specialist recruiters to ensure we can find the best people to team you up with and bring about the success you deserve.

4. Product Building
We typically begin the building of your idea with what is called an MVP (minimum viable product). This generates a prototype of your app/platform/software etc. meaning it can then be more easily scrutinised and adjusted to fit its intended purpose.
At this same stage it can be beta tested with end users to identify issues, get feedback and make important changes before it is pushed out to a wider audience.

5. Funding
It is regularly the case that your idea will need a significant cash injection to get it off the ground. This can sometimes run into the millions.
We work with a wide bank and contact base of investors, private equity firms and private banks all of whom look for businesses into which they can invest. We help you prepare your investment pitch, consider all the details and get you ready to field awkward questions.
Then you can go out to those investors and present your idea and ask them to put their faith, their money and their influence behind the concept. We also work with tax and accounting specialists who can help you recoup much of the money spent on the product and project development. Meaning you can get constant re-investment as you build your business.

6. Marketing
The most commonly forgotten element of getting a great idea from an idea into a business is the marketing. This will not be a simple case of “build it and they will come” the real world doesn’t work like that.
Marketing is a highly skilled, utterly imperative and all-encompassing discipline.
It cannot be ignored, it cannot be a second thought, it cannot be underfunded, it cannot be winged. It must be planned, strategised, scrutinised, implanted, tested, measured and adapted continuously and constantly.
It will be the making or breaking of your idea.
